Cross Country Skiing Instruction.

Whether you would like to experience cross country skiing for the very first time, or further develop your technique, I can organise group or individual classes to suit your needs.  In both classic and skating disciplines.

I am based in the Chamonix valley, surrounded by many high calibre nordic ski venues including Val Ferret, Cogne, Les Saisies and Les Contamines.

If you require week long coaching courses it is possible for me to travel to any Cross Country venue in the Alps.

BASI  ISIA Nordic Ski Teacher

I have been coaching cross country skiing and biathlon for over nine years in both Norway and the Alps.  I am a fully qualified BASI Nordic Ski Teacher (BASI Level 3) with my ISIA certification and  a National Rifles Association Biathlon Shooting Coach.  I am the only Cross Country Ski Teacher qualified to this level operating in France.

  For Seven Years I have trained the Oxford University Cross Country and Baithlon Ski Teams from novice to  intermediate race level in four week intensive training camps with considerable success.

GB Athlete with International race experience.

I have raced at GB level since 2006.  In 2006 I won the 10km Classic, and came second in the 6km Pursuit and the British Biathlon Union club championship.  After a break from racing in 2007 I came second in the 10km Classic and British Biathlon union club championship in 2008 and this season won the 10km Mass Start Biathlon and British Biathlon Union Club Championship.

I am a former member of the GB cross country ski team and regularly race in ski marathons around the European continent.  I have raced in the Birkebeiner NO, Vasaloppet S, Engadine CH, and the Transjuracienne F.  In 2009 I came 14th out of an International field in the 54km Skate Transjuracienne.
